"Hello, I’m Dr. David Cole, a third-generation orthodontist. From a young age, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the profound impact that dentistry and orthodontics can have on people’s lives. As a teenager, I worked in my family’s practice, creating appliances and assisting with patients. I also accompanied my family on multiple trips to the Dominican Republic, where we provided essential dental care to hundreds of individuals without access to the services we often take for granted. These experiences opened my eyes to how dentistry can make a tangible difference in people’s lives. I saw firsthand how transforming a smile could boost a person’s self-esteem and, in many cases, shape their future.
I graduated at the top of my class from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, following my undergraduate studies at Grove City College—where I also met and married my wife, Cassie. I pursued my specialization in Orthodontics at the highly regarded Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Afterward, I completed the rigorous board certification process and am proud to be among the select orthodontists certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. For the past several years, I’ve practiced in Northern Virginia, with a focus on smile aesthetics and clear aligner therapy."
